Ronda Rousey Disses Holly Holm: The ‘Life Of A Champion’ Is Not For Her

That’s fighting talk! We caught up with Ronda Rousey who had some trash talk for her opponent Holly Holm at tonight’s UFC fight in Melbourne, Australia. Read what she had to say!

We’re just hours away from UFC 193, and the big fight between Ronda Rousey, 28, and Holly Holm, 34, at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on Nov. 14, and the champ has some trash talking to do! HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Ronda, who couldn’t wait to put her opponent down, in more ways than one, insisting Holly just isn’t ready for life as a champion.

When asked in a recent press conference by one of our reporters if Ronda felt that Holly could be a champion and beat her, the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion had some choice words for her rival.

“I think that she’ll really enjoy her life a lot more [if she loses], she told HollywoodLife.com. “The life of a champion, I think, isn’t for everybody. And I think that the life of a contender, it’s a lot nicer in a lot of ways. A lot of these girls don’t realize until they’re the contender, and they get all that extra pressure put on that they don’t really want that life.”

Ronda then took aim at her opponent. She continued, “I think this kind of environment isn’t what Holly would like. I hope that she takes the money that she gets for losing and has a great life that she would like a lot more than this one.”

Let battle commence! The fight is scheduled to start at 10p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 14. It’s a pay-per-view event, so if you haven’t booked it, we suggest you do now!

Ronda Rousey: UFC Champ Training Vin Diesel’s Daughter, 7, To Be A ‘Beast’

Meanwhile, Ronda has taken Vin Diesel’s daughter Hania under her wing and has been teaching her martial arts! The Fast & The Furious 7 star recently revealed the news, admitting he’s creating a “beast.”

“First of all, I feel sorry for anyone that has to (date my daughter). I wouldn’t want that on my worst enemy because I’m just that kind of dad. I’ve been thinking about this since the day I cut the umbilical cord, and because of that, I made a decision early on that I was going to do everything in my power to empower her to handle it herself,” he recently shared with WENN.

“Because of her ‘auntie’ Ronda Rousey, she is now an orange belt with stripes in judo. I’m dealing with it early. I’m creating a beast, and I want her to be able to say ‘No means no,’” he revealed.
