Hank Baskett: Transgender Woman ‘Fondled’ Him Against His Will, Night He ‘Cheated’

So shocking! Hank Baskett finally decided to come clean about his ‘affair.’ The former NFL player claims he ‘froze’ when the transgendered model, he was accused of cheating with, fondled him through his shorts, and it almost ruined his marriage to Kendra Wilkinson.

One year after he was accused of cheating on Kendra Wilkinson, 30, with a transgender woman, Hank Baskett, 32, has finally decided to come clean about the night in question. In a surprising new interview, Hank admitted, “I messed up,” before adding, “I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family.” So what exactly happened that night? Here’s what he said.

Hank actually denied that he “mutually masturbated” with Ava Sabrina London, as previously reported. Instead, he claims he was only trying to buy marijuana from her, according to a new interview with PEOPLE.

Apparently, Hank met a couple smoking marijuana in a parking lot of a grocery store. He asked them about buying some, so they gave him a phone number. When he called it, they gave him an address. When he got there, Hank said he asked to use the restroom and when he emerged, “I saw something I thought I would never see in my life.”

The transgender woman who answered the door was nude and making out with another transgender woman. The naked model eventually approached him and “fondled” him through his shorts, but he said he “froze.”

“I didn’t engage in anything,” he said. “It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you’ll freeze. I don’t know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was get out, get out, get out.”

When new of the incident broke two months later, Hank said he was too embarrassed and distraught to talk about it. “I was this big former football player,” he said. “I was the alpha male. I could do anything to protect my family but I couldn’t protect myself.”

And Kendra “went ballistic,” she told PEOPLE. The Kendra On Top star actually kicked Hank out, flushed her wedding and engagement rings down the toilet, and threatened divorce. “I couldn’t control my emotions.” But once Hank fessed up and told the truth, Kendra said she was more understanding. “Hank was very naïve and gullible,” she said. “He thinks everybody is his friend. That led him to the hell that we’ve lived.”

Today, Kendra no longer believes her husband’s a cheater. “I don’t say the word ‘cheat.’ I can say he was not loyal to me. I don’t care about the act. I care about how he reacted to it and how I was told by the media what happened. That scarred me.”

So what about that audio tape that was released, in which Hank can be heard offering Ava money for her silence? Kendra believes Hank was just trying to keep the “predator” happy. “I wouldn’t have pissed off that predator either,” she said. “I would have said, ‘I’ll give you the world, please don’t ruin my life.'”

“It’s hard to defend yourself when people are making up lies,” Hank added. “You never know what someone is going to make up [next].”

Kendra and Hank, who are parents to Hank IV, 3, and Alijah, 13 months, said they’re ready to move on and leave the “affair” in the past. “I’m finding the trust again,” Kendra said. “And I’m actually very happy Hank went through this now because he’s able to teach his son and his daughter what it’s like to make a mistake and what you do after making a mistake.”

“I have a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I feel extremely free,” Hank concluded.
