The Bachelorettes: Real Reason Producers Picked Britt Nilsson & Kaitlyn Bristowe

Fans and former contestants freaked when Chris Harrison announced that there would be two women competing against each other on the next ‘Bachelorette.’ Now HollywoodLife.com can exclusively reveal why producers made this ‘desperate’ decision!

“Why two Bachelorettes?” was the question on everyone’s minds on March 9 after Chris Harrison made the jaw-dropping reveal about Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose specialHere’s why producers decided to make this unprecedented move.

Two Bachelorettes: Why Producers Picked Britt Nilsson & Kaitlyn Bristowe

They did it all for the ratings!

“The only reason the producers picked Brit was because of ratings. No one really likes Britt, whereas everyone loves Kaitlyn. The producers are under pressure to bring in higher ratings for the next season. They are desperate and this was a desperate move.”

Wow! This was quite a controversial — and arguably sexist — move to make simply for the sake of ratings. If The Bachelorette needed a shakeup, we can think of plenty of other options for added drama! Former Bachelorettes & Bachelors Weigh In On Competition

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars Ali Fedotowsky, 30, Desiree Siegfried, and Sean Lowe, 31, and his wife, Catherine Lowe, 28, weren’t pleased with the producers’ decision to pit two women against each other, and they all took to Twitter in protest. Here are their tweets:
