Tyra Banks ‘Deeply Saddened’ Over Mirjana Puhar’s Murder — Statement

Mirjana Puhar is best known for her time on ‘ANTM,’ and now her mentor, Tyra Banks, along with co-executive producer Ken Mok, have released a statement revealing their thoughts on the former contestant’s tragic death.

Tyra Banks, 41, had the difficult task of sending Mirjana Puhar, 18 at the time, home on episode 10 of the 21st season of America’s Next Top Model. Sadly, Mirjana didn’t live to see her dreams of becoming a model come true, and now Tyra is mourning the loss of a girl who once had so much promise.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news about Mirjana Puhar.  She was a vivacious and promising young woman. Our hearts and prayers go out to her loved ones,” Ken Mok and Tyra Banks, the Executive Producers of America’s Next Top Model told HollywoodLife.com.

So heartbreaking.

‘ANTM’ Contestants Mourn Mirjana

Tyra isn’t the only Top Model star who is dealing with Mirjana’s tragic and untimely death. Many contestants from her season, as well as many fans of the show and Mirjana herself, took to social media to express their sadness.

Of course, our thoughts remain with Mirjana’s friends and family, as well as Tyra and the America’s Next Top Model community, during this difficult time. Our hearts break for them. We hope they find the strength to get through this horrific time in their lives.
