Miranda Lambert Stuns On ‘Marie Claire’ Cover
We’re used to seeing the stunning Texas native look her best, and we love her glamour meets grit style! She showed off some major cleavage on the cover in a sky blue knit A line dress with alternating sheer pleated panels, and it looked great alongside her windblown hair and natural looking makeup.
Inside the magazine she sits pool side in a beautiful flower filled skirt, and showed off her newly trimmed body in a sexy black, red and white knit swimsuit.
Miranda Lambert’s Weight Loss: ‘I Want Women To Love Themselves’
Even though Miranda posed in swimwear, she opened up about her motive for losing weight and shared that she thinks there is far too much attention placed on women’s bodies.
“When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your sh_t’s not jiggling. I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized,” she told the mag. “But everybody’s making this big, giant thing about it. It’s way too much focus on women’s bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they’ve got going on.”
She also admitted that she’s a little on the anxious side and she likes to be in control of her schedule, so when things don’t go her way, hubby Blake picks her up! “I’m not sunshine and roses. Blake’s the happiest person on the planet. He pulls me out of my darkness … Literally, everything is the best about being married,” she added. So cute!
We love how candid Miranda was for this interview, and not to make a “giant thing about it,” but her new bod looks amazing!
