Bill Cosby, 77, has been in the public eye for all the wrong reasons lately. Women continue to come forward claiming the actor raped them years ago, and his onscreen daughter Lisa Bonet, 47, may have something to say about it. A Nov. 21 tweet from an account claiming to be her tweeted about how “nothing stays in the dark” for good seems to be directed right at the comedian.
UPDATE: A rep for Lisa Bonet has confirmed that the account was fake. The account has since been suspended.
Right in the middle of the firestorm surrounding Bill and his numerous rape allegations, his former onscreen daughter may have tweeted a very bold message.
Lisa, who played Bill’s daughter Denise on The Cosby Show, apparently tweeted from an unverified account: “According to the karma of past actions, one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky… Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!”
Wow. The tweet certainly fits the disturbing situation, but it could be about something else entirely.
Lisa’s co-star Raven-Symone recently spoke out about the allegations, and stated the Bill did not take advantage of her while she was on the show.
More and more women continue to accuse the actor of heinous acts, and many of those women are in the Hollywood celebrities. Model Janice Dickinson claims that Bill lured her to his home and raped her while she was there.
Actress Louisa Moritz and Lou Ferrigno’s wife Carla have also made similar claims of forced oral sex and sexual assault.
Bill has yet to make a public statement himself, but he’s going to have to given the number of women who are coming forward with such horrifying allegations.
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Lisa’s rep for confirmation.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Lisa’s tweet is about Bill? Let us know.
