It looks like Emily Thorne’s (Emily VanCamp) web of lies have finally caught up with her — but unfortunately for her loyal friend, Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) he bared the brunt of it. On the Nov. 2, episode of Revenge, David Clarke (James Tupper) accuses Nolan of keeping Amanda’s fortune for himself while giving an interview on live TV!
Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) found herself in hot water when the guy that she met at the club, Vince wouldn’t let her leave in the morning claiming that she is, “the bait.” Meanwhile, David settles into his beach house with Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) while they prepare for the TV crews arrival so David can set the record straight about his past and that he was, “a victim.”
Nolan is busy hacking into the FBI’s system to hack into David’s file to see his psychiatric tests. They also look a his self-inflicted wounds and watch his videos that he recorded while he was being evaluated. David reveals that during his capture he felt fear, but he does not feel released to be out and feels, “alone.” — who knows where David really has been though! However, he was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Charlotte fights for her life and shows off some pretty impressive moves to get away from Vince, but unfortunately she kills him in the process — something that this family should be used to doing by now, but of course she was freaked out! Inside Vince’s apartment she finds out that he has been following her now deceased father, Conrad Grayson’s (Henry Czerny) every move in the media.
Victoria finally finds out that Louise has been hanging around Daniel (Joshua Bowman). She also reveals that she was in a psychiatric facility, and says that Louise was her roommate and is concerned about her state of mind.
Ben then tries to apologize to Jack that he thought that he was the one that murdered Conrad urges Ben to, “find a new hobby.”
In a shocking turn of events, Charlotte calls Emily — who she previously tried to kill in a fire — to help her figure out what to do with Vince’s body — I guess that’s one way to bond. Emily looks through the stash of information on Conrad and Daniel where she finds out that Vince is the one tried to run over David in front of the hotel.
David then came to visit Nolan for a second time. He asks him to come to his interview tonight and of course Nolan says that he will be there. Let’s hope David’s intentions are true and that he doesn’t have some hidden agenda for Nolan!
Louise finally comes face-to-face to Victoria. Louise is off her rocker and thanks Victoria for the kindness that she showed her — are we talking about the same Victoria?
Nolan arrives just in time for the interview, but is quickly sidetracked by a call by Emily who has figured out that David’s story that he was captured is definitely not true. Nolan refuses to check into David’s past and doesn’t believe Emily — for probably the first time ever.
David then begins his live interview and discusses what it was like to be kept captive for over ten years, while Emily is upstate looking into her father’s story. David talks about the people he loves and instead of calling out Victoria, he asks Nolan to come out and join him in the interview where he claims that Nolan, “was like the son I never had.”
He calls him out on live TV where he accused Nolan of stealing the fortune that was supposed to Amanda Clarke — little does he know that Nolan is her best friend! He then accuses Nolan of betraying him and says that he will never forgive him.
Charlotte then goes to say goodbye to Victoria where she reveals that she is going to check herself into rehab. She also reveals that she is not just going because of her drug use — but to get away from her mothers lies as far as David is concerned.
In a strange twist of events, David comes to visit Nolan at his house where he demands the truth. Emily then comes to visit Nolan just as David leaves him — poor Nolan is having to pay for Emily’s web of lies.
Unfortunately, it looks like Victoria and David are getting even closer and says that she is the only one who is there to connect him to his past — he then asks her to move in with him.
Nolan then tells Emily that it’s time for her to come clean, but Emily has other plans. She believes that David is definitely not telling the truth — looks like she might be right!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is it time for Emily to tell David the truth? Are you surprised that David called out Nolan on live TV? Let us know your thoughts below!
