Two housewives have been axed — and not from RHOA! Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, the newest ladies to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will not be returning to next season. Keep reading to find out why they were cut!
Looks like there wasn’t any room for more cattiness in the Beverly Hills clique. Newbies Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia have been booted out from the Southern California gates — at least on camera.
Both ladies joined the franchise just last season, but they couldn’t outlast Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards or Yolanda Foster, and reportedly will not be featured in Season 5, which returns this fall.
“Decisions were made and Joyce and Carlton have been informed that they’re not coming back,” according to US Weekly.
Carlton, 40, made waves for her Wiccan lifestyle and public display of sex toys on the series, while Puerto Rican beauty queen Joyce, 39, became enemies with Brandi.
At least Joyce won’t have to fight with Brandi over her “racist” remarks anymore?
Although Bravo has not officially confirmed the news, Carlton did comment on allegedly being fired, and apparently, she’s not too upset.
“I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show,” Carlton told E! News on May 28. “It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.”
Carlton added that she’s enjoyed working for Bravo, but she’ll be just fine without the show — or the ladies.
“I would like to go into a show and not have to watch the knives coming at my back. That would be great!”
The ladies of Beverly Hills aren’t the only ones enduring cast changes. The Real Housewives of Atlanta have cast members potentially on the chopping block, too.
After the infamously insane reunion special, rumors have been buzzing about Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore being fired.
Atlanta cast member Kandi Burruss EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that all cast members very likely could be coming back, but no decisions have been made. NeNe Leakes also told us that Kenya is good for ratings so she will probably stick around. But no word on Porsha.
HollywoodLife.com reached out to Bravo who had no comment on Joyce and Carlton’s firing.
HollywoodLifers, will you miss Joyce or Carlton from the series? Let us know!
