After being pushed back at least three times, the release date for Chris Brown‘s upcoming album seems to be set in stone. Now that the date has been determined, we’re wondering if Chris will diss Rihanna in any of his new songs, as he did in DJ Khaled‘s “I’m Still.” Keep reading for all the details.
X‘s release date may have been pushed back until December, but luckily, we won’t have to wait until then to hear some of Chris’ new tracks.
Chris, 24, told his fans via Twitter on Oct. 15, “Since we pushed the album back to December 3, on 11-19-13 ima release 5 new songs just for my fans. Love y’all.”
Finally, folks, we have a date for X! And even better, we’re going to get a sneak peek earlier than expected. We can’t wait!
Now that one of our questions has been answered, we’ll pose another: Will Chris take a shot at his ex Rihanna, 25, in the same derogatory way he did in DJ Khaled’s “I’m Still”?
In an unreleased verse of song, Chris had some pretty harsh words that some believe were meant for Rihanna. He raps, “Every ni**a in the industry done fu**ed my bi**h/ And all my ni**as said I told ya/Now all these rap ni**as wanna be political/Nah, f**k that I’m a real lyrical/killer.”
Wow, did he really just rap that? Is that what he thinks of Rihanna?
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Chris went too far with this jab at his ex Rihanna? Tell us what you think.
