Every time One Direction performs “Best Song Ever” it gets better and better! The boys were at it again on Aug. 22, turning Rockefeller Center in New York City into 1D central and driving fans absolutely crazy. Did you love the performance?
Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson looked cooler than ever hitting the stage on the Today show on Aug. 22, as they ripped through some of their biggest hits, including their massive new single, “Best Song Ever.”
While Niall rocked out on an electric guitar for the song, the other four guys performed with tons of energy, moving around the stage and greeting some of the lucky fans who got front-row seats to the show.
Speaking of fans, Rockefeller Center outside the Today show was more crowded than we’ve ever seen it, full of devoted, screaming Directioners — 18,000 in total, according to Today.
1D also played high energy versions of “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Kiss You,” and a sexy, acoustic version of “Little Things” (which really had some fans sobbing).
We’ll never get tired of seeing One Direction perform live — the way they interact with each other and their fans, the way they clearly enjoy what they’re doing, their energy and chemistry are infectious and unmatched in pop music today.
What did you think about the rocking 1D performance, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
