Emma Roberts Arrested For Domestic Violence Against Boyfriend Evan Peters
Emma, 22, who is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of Julia Roberts, was taken into custody early in the morning on July 7 in Montreal after a violent interaction with recurring American Horror Story star Evan, 26. Police were called to the couple’s hotel room after someone reported the fight, according to TMZ.
After reportedly observing Evan with a bloody nose and a bite mark, police immediately arrested Emma, but she was later released after Evan decided not to press charges against her.
Emma Roberts And Evan Peters Make Up After Domestic Violence Incident
Sources close to Emma told the gossip site that Emma did not bite Evan, and that she wasn’t the only one to blame for the fight — Emma and Evan were both hitting each other, and she was arrested because Evan had very obvious injuries.
The sources add that Emma and Evan have since reconciled and they are working together on the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
Emma and Evan have been dating since the spring of 2012 after meeting on the set of the movie Adult World. Evan recently recruited his girlfriend to co-star with him on American Horror Story: Coven.
“It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it,” Emma and Evan’s reps told HollywoodLife.com in a joint statement.
