One Direction Premieres Sexy New Video For ‘Kiss You’ — Watch

If you’ve got a case of the Monday blues, this is sure to brighten your day. On Jan. 7, our favorite boys, One Direction, have finally dropped the music video for their awesome new single, “Kiss You”. After days of counting down the video’s premiere with teasing sneak peeks, we can finally enjoy the newest vid from Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson in its full glory!
The video for the song finds the boys paying homage to the King, Elvis Presley. The jailhouse jumpsuits and cute-sy surfing reference Jailhouse Rock and Blue Hawaii respectively, two of Elvis’ best movies! It seems that with the new video, Harry and Co. are taking the throne as the new Kings!
‘Kiss You’ Director On One Direction’s New Video
The director of the boys’ new video, Vaughan Arnell, spoke with MTV News about how the new video marks a major departure for One Direction:
“The ultimate tease, I think it’s as you’ve never seen the boys before, kind of studio-based. I wouldn’t say comedy, it’s all tongue-in-cheek,” he said. “And I think in the past, the boys have always been outside, it’s always been kind of quite location-based, and this is the first studio-based idea I’ve done with them,” Vaughan continued. “And as a tease you’re going to see them dressed as Hollywood [stars], you’re going to see them dressed as ’50s sailors, you got the boys surfing. There’s a lot going on in this one, so as a tease, it’s as you’ve never seen the boys before.”
We think this video just might be One Direction’s best!
