Chris Brown may have viciously assaulted Rihanna in 2009, but he has since said he learned his lesson. He even recorded two duets with her that were released this week! But police are now investigating claims that he stole the iPhone of a fan, proving again that he’s made no effort to change his criminal ways. The State Attorney’s office tells HollywoodLife.com that an arrest warrant will not be issued against Chris.
“Nothing is going to happen,” an official for the State Attorney’s office said to us.
Chris, 22, allegedly snatched the phone of fan Christal Spann on Feb. 19 outside of Cameo nightclub in Miami Beach, E! News reports. The reason? She took a picture of him while he was inside his car leaving the club — that’s it.
In response, Chris allegedly said, “Bitch, you ain’t going to put that on no website,” grabbed the phone, rolled up the window and drove away.
An arrest could cause serious drama for Chris, who is on probation until 2014.
Meanwhile, Chris is telling his friends that he hasn’t broken the law and hopes this incident won’t interfere with his probation, RadarOnline.com reports.
“Chris is telling friends that he has done nothing wrong,” a source says. “Chris is hopeful that the evidence and the true facts of the case will result in no charges being made against him.”
Do YOU think Chris has changed his ways at all, HollywoodLifers?
