Pumpkin Seeds
How To Roast
Tis the season to enjoy all kinds of pumpkin treats! One very easy one to enjoy comes from the source itself: pumpkin seeds!
If you’re carving pumpkins and want to enjoy a snack after, save the seeds from inside your jack o’lantern to roast.
The most important step is making sure your seeds are clean and dry. Wash off the seeds of all pumpkin guts and leave them out to dry.
WARNING: Skipping this step will result in the seeds being steamed rather than roasted, so make sure they are dry!
When you’re ready to roast, make sure to give your seeds a nice seasoning. The choices are endless here, so have fun with it!
Get the oven to 350 degrees, and with the seeds spread on a baking sheet, pop into the oven.
But don’t set it and forget it! You’ll want to check on the seeds every few mins and give them a shake to get even browning.
After about 15 mins, you should have delicious, snackable seeds. Just let them cool off a bit!
