Most notably, Harry’s beloved headmaster is a prominent figure in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ films, with Jude Law taking over the role from Michael Gambon.

Albus Dumbledore

 Making a surprise cameo in the second ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film, Minerva seems to be sticking around, with Fiona Glascott playing the younger version of Maggie Smith’s iconic role.

Professor Mcgonagall

 Voldemort’s most trusted companion was revealed to be a Maledictus in the second ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film, meaning she was a woman cursed to one day become a snake incapable of returning to her human form.

Nagini

Like Dumbledore, Grindelwald takes center stage in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ films as the saga’s central villain. He was seen only briefly in the last ‘Harry Potter’ film, but now is brought to life by Mads Mikkelsen after Johnny Depp was forced to step away from the role.

Gellert Grindelwald

Though a key character in the first ‘Harry Potter’ film, the noted alchemist is never seen until the second ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film, played by Brontis Jodorowsky.

Nicholas Flamel

Albus’ troubled younger brother, was originally played by Ciarán Hinds n ‘Deathly Hallows –PT 2’. In ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’, Richard Coyle takes on the role as a younger version of the Hog’s Head owner.
