In the summer of 2002, acclaimed rapper Eminem dropped his 4th studio album, which many hailed as one of the best albums of the 2000s decade.

Here are some facts about the record:

Four singles were released from the album: ‘Cleanin Out My Closet’, ‘Superman’, ‘Sing for the Moment’, and the wildly successful ‘Without Me’.

The album features guest appearances from D12, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, and even Eminem's daughter, Hailie Jade Scott-Mathers.

Though nominated for Album of the Year, Eminem lost the award to Norah Jones. He still won two Grammys that year for Best Rap Album and Best Music Video for ‘Without Me’.

Eminem admitted early on that the album was extremely personal and that he was influenced by the 1998 film, The Truman Show with Jim Carrey.

‘Till I Collapse’, the 18th track on the album has never been released as a single, yet stands as one of Eminem’s most streamed songs on Spotify and is a fan favorite.
