Plus, two major characters find themselves on the wrong end of a gun. Find out who bit the bullet this week!
Here’s my first question about this week’s True Blood: Where has this episode been all season? Not only did the thousands of story lines finally start to connect Aug. 5, but even the really ridiculous ones — I’m looking at you, fire/smoke monster — became awesome. You know who didn’t became awesome, though? Bill (Stephen Moyer). He still kind of sucks.
The human-vampire war is almost upon us! Do you think Bill is really evil, or just playing along?
Remember a few weeks ago when I said Bill (Stephen Moyer) was going to embrace the Authority’s evil, human-nomming ways and everybody called me a Bill-hater? It looks like Team Bill is going to have some serious defending to do, as that’s exactly what happened on the July 29 episode of True Blood. Despite Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) best efforts, he wasn’t able to coax the Good King away from Lilith’s army.
Pam herself, Kristin Bauer Van Straten, tells HollywoodLife.com she can’t wait to sink her fangs into Bon Temps’ most-wanted fairy.
True Blood fans know it’s hardly a secret that Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) hates Sookie (Anna Paquin). In fact, she’s always hated Sookie, and probably always will — but when will she finally do something about it? HollywoodLife.com caught up with Kristin at a party celebrating True Blood‘s Forsaken collection July 26 in NYC, and she assured us Pam is definitely “looking for an opportunity for revenge.”
Plus, the vampire who dug up Russell finally comes forward! (Warning: So many major spoilers ahead.)
After nearly seven weeks of incessant name dropping, Lilith finally appeared in the flesh July 22 on True Blood — or did she? Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) and his newly assembled Authority certainly seemed to think so, but it turns out their precious Jesus vampire isn’t everything they dreamt she’d be. In fact, she was literally a dream!
Plus, Michael promises ‘more gif opportunities’ from Steve this season. (You’re welcome, Tumblr!)
Lilith be praised! After a few weeks off, “gay vampire American” Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) returns to True Blood on July 22 — and he’s bringing along some unholy surprises! Michael chatted with HollywoodLife.com about Steve’s shenanigans in the second half of the season, including his vamped-up love life and who really turned him from a self-righteous preacher to a just-plain-righteous bloodsucker.
Who’s getting hitched? Who’s coming back from the dead? I’ve got answers to those questions and more in this week’s Spoiler Party!
Happy Hump Day! It’s raining kitties and puppies — at least it is here in New York — and I’ve got an umbrella of spoilers for you to hide under! (Note to self: Work on better metaphors.) Read on for some exclusive scoop on your favorite shows (and mine!)
Russell’s ‘execution’ shifted the balance of power and delivered the best ending yet this season. Lilith be praised!
If you watched True Blood‘s new Comic-Con trailer, much of the show’s July 15 episode probably gave you a nasty case of deja vu — until the final moments, of course, when Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) reminded everyone why they’ve shivered at the mere mention of his name for the past three seasons.
Russell wreaks havoc, Sookie leaves vampires behind and Godric returns! Watch the new trailer and prepare to have your mind blown.
A brand-new trailer for the second half of True Blood‘s fifth season debuted July 14 at Comic-Con — and I had to watch it three times just to fully grasp what the heck was going on. Not only does Sookie (Anna Paquin) appear to give up her powers and actually forget Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer), but Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) also begins a killing spree, triggering a war between humans and vampires!
Plus, will Claude also be a stripper like he is in the original books? Giles gives HollywoodLife.com all the awkward details!
Get ready for more “cotton candy, fresh-baked bread, and f*****g sex!” True Blood fans are about to see a lot more of Bon Temps’ newest fairy Claude, his portrayer Giles Matthey tells HollywoodLife.com, and he’s bringing along a few big surprises for Sookie (Anna Paquin). “You get a sense that they’re more than just friends,” Giles hints. “Fans will learn very soon, actually, about their connection.”
It’s official: No TV couple is safe! Read on for my exclusive scoop on ‘True Blood,’ ‘Jane By Design’ and more.
Happy Hump Day! Now that the summer holiday is behind us, my weekly Spoiler Parties can officially commence — and things are not looking good for some of my (and your) favorite TV couples.
But who dug the crazy old vampire up in the first place? If you’ve got a theory, I want to hear it!
Things got really messy in Bon Temps on the July 8 episode of True Blood — and I’m not just talking about how Sookie (Anna Paquin) puked on Alcide (Joe Manganiello) right before they were about to have sex. Oh, and did I mention Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) were standing in Sook’s bedroom watching it all go down?
Like her on-screen persona, Valentina’s got all the secrets — but how much is she willing to give up? Let’s find out.
True Blood‘s fifth season has already introduced us to a bevy of new friends and foes, but none so mysterious as Valentina Cervi‘s Salomé, an ancient — like Biblically ancient — vampire with a penchant for seduction and hidden agendas. HollywoodLife.com chatted with Valentina for the scoop on Russell Edgington’s “surprise” return, how first-vampire Lillith will “come into the picture,” and what to expect from the “incredible” season finale.
Do you eat, sleep and breathe True Blood? How would you like to smell and wear it too? This August, Home Shopping Network will debut Forsaken, a makeup and fragrance collection inspired the HBO series. It’s a collaboration you’ll be dying to sink your teeth into!
Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you haven’t watch the July 1 episode of ‘True Blood’!
The July 1 episode of True Blood ended with Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) loveless dry spell coming to an end, but not everyone on the show got so lucky. Chancellor Alexander suffered the True Death after he was found to be a traitor of the Authority, and HollywoodLife.com chatted with Jacob Hopkins — who isn’t actually allowed to watch the show, by the way — for the scoop on his character’s very messy demise.
Sookie’s latest nookie has been a long time coming! Do you approve of the guy she chose to make sexy times with?
It took her four long weeks, but Sookie (Anna Paquin) finally got some action on the July 1 episode of True Blood — and, really, what is a season of this show without a handful of Sookie sex scenes? So which of Sookie’s many supernatural suitors was given access to her “super snatch”?
