Find out why the soon-to-be ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star won’t be appearing on the HBO series’ final season this summer!
As much as we were hoping for a reunion between Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) on True Blood, we were enjoying her budding romance with newcomer James (Luke Grimes). But that doesn’t really matter anymore, as James is being recast, following Luke’s sudden departure from the HBO vampire drama.
The truth about the supernatural residents of Bon Temps is finally being revealed! (Or, at least, Steve Newlin’s version of the truth.) Steve Newlin: Religious zealot. Gay vampire. Published author? Yes, True Blood‘s late, great reverend has posthumously released “his” first original book, True Blood: A Field Guide To Vampires (And Other Creatures Of Satan), and it’s…
Stephen explains the complications of a Sookie-Bill reunion. Who are YOU hoping she ends up with?
When True Blood‘s sixth season wrapped in Aug. 2013, Sookie (Anna Paquin) was embarking on a new life with Alcide (Joe Manganiello). But will that romance last through the final season, airing summer 2014, or will one of Sookie’s old flames catch fire once again? Stephen Moyer spoke with HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine about the future — and conclusion — of Sookie’s romantic journey.
Are you prepared to say goodbye to Sookie and her supernatural friends? Ready or not, the final 10 episodes are coming in 2014!
The vampires of Bon Temps may have managed to escape the apocalypse during True Blood‘s sixth season, but now, they face a fate far worse than the true death: a series finale! HBO confirmed Sept. 3 that next summer will usher in the final season of the long-running series.
Did Eric really burn to death on the season finale of ‘True Blood’? Read on if you don’t mind a little spoiling!
In need of some good news, Eric fans? How about this: True Blood showrunner Brian Buckner tells HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine that everyone’s favorite Nordic vampire is coming back next season! “He will be a series regular,” Brian confirms. “I’m not going to take Alexander Skarsgard out of people’s living rooms.”
Sam Trammell expresses his — and our — concern over the apparent death of the show’s tallest vampire.
For the record, Sam Trammell feels the same way we do about True Blood‘s most recent twist. “I dont want Eric to be dead!” he tells Vulture in a new interview. “But honestly, I don’t know how that works itself out there. I don’t know what happens next with him.”
Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you don’t want to know who (probably) died on the ‘True Blood’ season finale.
Real talk: The Aug. 19 season finale of True Blood gave frustrated fans a lot to complain about. A season-long storyline was sloppily wrapped up in 20 minutes, Sookie (Anna Paquin) suddenly found herself in a committed relationship with very little build-up; and most controversially, a fan-favorite character appeared to have met the true death. I’m here to discuss that last shocker — and why it might not be as tragic as we all think.
Spoiler alert: Stop reading now if you haven’t seen the polarizing ‘True Blood’ season finale. I’m about to whine about many major plot points.
Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Warlow’s wedding day finally arrived on the Aug. 18 season finale of True Blood, but like most major events in Bon Temps, it didn’t exactly go off without a hitch. In fact, it was pretty much one big non-stop hitch, as Warlow revealed his true intentions to his future bride. Spoiler alert: He’s a total hybrid douche.
Bon Temps’ winsome wiccan reflects on the ‘season of survival,’ including the ‘surprising’ finale to come.
During the past six years, True Blood fans have seen Holly Clearly wear many different hats: mother, lover, and my personal favorite, wiccan. But this season, she’s also taken on the role of a comforter, helping her loved ones through horrific tragedies — and as we head into the Aug. 18 season finale, Lauren Bowles tells HollywoodLife.com that the tragedies are far from over. “It’s pretty clear this year is the season of survival,” she says. “You really have to band together with your tribe in order to, well, survive.”
Plus, Sookie makes up her mind about her future with Warlow. Do you think she’ll regret her decision?
Historically, the penultimate episode of each True Blood season has been heart-stopping, game-changing and, arguably, better than the finale itself. I’m not sure that’s going to be the case in season six, though the Aug. 11 episode did find several characters in dire straits — particularly Bill (Stephen Moyer), whose horrific vision of a mass vampire execution finally came to fruition.
Plus, Eric makes a strategic move to bring himself up to Bill’s level. The rivalry continues!
For the past six years, we’ve watched Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) string along every supernatural suitor in Bon Temps, giving nary a f*** how her flighty indecisiveness might make them feel. But on the Aug. 4 episode of True Blood, our fickle fairy friend was given an ultimatum — one that will force her to finally choose a guy and stick to him. For real this time.
The Young Hollywood Awards’ ‘One To Watch’ honoree gave HollywoodLife.com a peek into her character’s future — and it sounds pretty nuts.
If you think Sarah Newlin has been crazy on True Blood so far this season, you haven’t seen anything yet. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Anna Camp backstage at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards on Aug. 1, and she told us we can expect to see her character reach new levels of insanity on the show’s Aug. 4 episode.
Plus, Sookie makes a desperate deal with Bill. Is their icy relationship starting to thaw?
When someone dies in your bed, it’s customary to simply wash the sheets and carry on. But after the gruesome/melty death we witnessed on the July 28 episode of True Blood, I’m thinking Bill (Stephen Moyer) might want to just throw out his entire bed and start fresh.
Season six really came to a head this week. (Seriously, though, stop reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.)
True Blood did a little house cleaning July 21, knocking off two relatively important, though very different, characters. We also got to see fairy-on-fairy sex for the first time, and it was even more sparkly than I could have ever imagined — not that I spent a lot of time imagining it. … Oh, boy.
The cast of HBO’s bloody-good hit series previewed the second half of season six — even if one of them won’t make it to season seven.
With five episodes left before True Blood bows out for another year, the HBO series’ cast had a lot of ground to cover July 20 during the show’s Comic-Con panel. Needless to say, Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) love life and the identity of this season’s buzzed-about victim were among the hottest topics of conversation.
