Tom Hanks is on Team CoCo, and he’s joining the red-haired host for his big Tonight Show farewell!
Conan O’Brien will host his final episode of The Tonight Show tomorrow — and if you think he’s going quietly, think again! Superstar Tom Hanks recently took to his Twitter to announce his appearance on the big finale: “Going on Friday’s Big Show,” he tweeted. “What WILL happen? Tune in. Hanx.” He’ll be joining previously announced finale guest Will Ferrell, so you know something big is in the works! Both actors have been on Conan’s Tonight Show before — Will was a guest for the premiere episode on June 1, 2009, and Tom dropped by the next night — so maybe Conan is simply trying to go out the same way he came in! We bet Tom Hanks will have a few choice words for NBC when he guests on the finale. Whose NBC joke made you laugh harder, Jay’s or Conan’s?
Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien are being pretty open about their feelings for NBC — and neither of them are happy! Both hosts tore into the network (again) last night, and we’re trying to decide who was funnier. “Are you excited about the winter Olympics next month in Vancouver?” Jay asked his audience at 10 p.m. on “The Jay Leno Show.” “If you can’t wait until next month, stay on this channel between 10:00 and midnight and you will see NBC’s coverage of ‘Two Hosts Skating on Thin Ice.'” Ooh, burn! And Conan’s jab wasn’t much friendler. Read more & vote!
Jay may have won “The Tonight Show” but he’s losing a lot of love from Hollywood!!
Sorry, Jay Leno — but Hollywood is totally on totally on team Conan O’Brien!
HollywoodLife.com told you yesterday, Jan. 14, that Jay was taking backThe Tonight Show and basically forcing Conan to leave NBC.
And celebs are already ticked! Jimmy Kimmel went on Leno’s “10 at 10” last night, and said the best prank he ever played was: “I told a guy ‘five years from now, I’m going to give you my show.’ When five years came around, I gave it to him … and then I took it back.”

SHOCKER!! Is Jay Leno really taking back ‘The Tonight Show’ on NBC & is Conan leaving the network?
As predicted, it’s now being reported that Conan O’Brien will stop taping of The Tonight Show after next week, and that the show’s former, long-time host, Jay Leno, will replace him. The Tonight Show will remain on NBC and will reportedly air at 11:35 pm. E! News host Giuliana Rancic tweeted, “Conan O’Brien is pulling the plug and will have his last show next Friday the 22nd … word is Leno just signed a contract to return as host of The Tonight Show.” TMZ first reported the news that Jay will take back The Tonight Show, which he hosted for 17 years, until he announced his retirement in 2004: “Jay Leno has made a new deal with NBC which gives him The Tonight Show from 11:35 pm -12:35 am. Conan O’Brien is out and Jay is restored.” Read more
