The Saved by the Bell cast is back! Jimmy Fallon reunited Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, Mark Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez and Dennis Haskins for a hilarious skit on the Feb. 4, episode of The Tonight Show, but where were Screech (Dustin Diamond) and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies)?! Here’s what we know.
I need to call a Time Out here! Elizabeth Berkley may be 42 now but she just proved that she literally doesn’t age. She posted an Instagram pic of herself on Feb. 5, put together with a pic of herself as Jessie Spano on Saved by the Bell. Of course, the timing was perfect, since the MAIN cast all reunited that very same night!
Ever wonder what it would be like to see the Saved by the Bell gang — Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski, Jessie Spano, AC Slater, and Mr. Belding — back together at Bayside High? Now you don’t have to because Jimmy Fallon reunited most of the cast during a brilliant sketch on The Tonight Show Feb. 4!
Saved By The Bell was a downright phenomenon, plastering Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Kelly Kapowski’s (Tiffani Thiessen) faces everywhere, but turns out, Jennie Garth could have been part of the A-list cast…she auditioned to play Kelly!
Saved By The Bell launched the careers of teen heartthrobs and sex symbols, including Elizabeth Berkley, now 42, but were their perfect on-screen lives actually filled with tons of drama? That’s the picture painted in Lifetime’s TV movie — which is based off of Dustin Diamond‘s (a.k.a. Screech) tell-all book — but the actress from the original cast doesn’t seem to care!
It looks like Kelly Kapowski has firmly moved on from her Saved By The Bell days! Tiffani Thiessen, 39, was on the TODAY show on Feb. 5 to discuss the newest season of White Collar, when all of a sudden there was a surprise guest: Mr. Belding! Dennis Haskins, 62, who is looking a little more portly since he was ruling the hallways of Bayside High, showed up and Tiffani looked less than impressed! Read on and watch the video.
90210 did it. Boy Meets World is doing it. And now, it sounds like the door could be open for Saved By The Bell to make a comeback of its very own! Two of Bayside’s finest — Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played blond beauty Zack Morris, and Dennis Haskins, who (sort of) kept the gang in line as Principal Richard Belding — have recently spoken out, saying they’d love to do another reunion… or even a potential spin-off series.
Tiffani Thiessen spent four years working side-by-side with Mario Lopez on Saved By the Bell, and the pair developed a friendship that’s still strong — 17 years after their show ended. The new mom to baby girl Harper Renn Smith says she can’t wait to set up playdates with Mario‘s 2-week-old daughter, Gia Francesca Lopez! “I will absolutely [arrange playdates] when they’re a little older,” Tiffani told HollyBaby.com exclusively at the Juno Jr. Launch event at FAO Schwarz in NYC on Sept. 25. “Mario just had her. [And Harper,] she’s three-and-a-half months … so when the baby is a little bit older, of course!”
