With the guns come the…claws! ‘Mean Girls’ try to take control and wind up falling flat as the designers are forced to work together in yet another group challenge. Can you say DRAMA? Warning: spoilers ahead in our ‘Project Runway’ recap.
Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn meet the designers on the runway with paintball guns, and you can tell the Project Runway challenge is going to come with a twist — and everyone is less than enthused to find out it’s another group challenge! Can you say too soon?
The Mary Kay challenge is here! With a chance to take home a big paycheck and have your dress featured in an ad campaign, the pressure is on — but who won’t be able to hold it together and who will stay in the game? Spoilers ahead — read on at your own risk!
After working together in groups, the designers are on their own again — but who will be in and who will be out? Now that’s the question. The Project Runway designers are met by Heidi Klum on the runway, who clues them in on their next challenge. “It is on the horizon, and I’m pretty sure you are going to like the view,” she says. What can the challenge be?
Uh oh! This week’s episode is full of drama. From Swapnil to Amanda, there’s definitely going to be a lot of waterworks tonight. Are you guys excited to watch the latest episode?
Episode 4 of Project Runway’s Season 14 airs tonight and we got a sneak peak of the drama that will ensue on this week’s episode. From what we can tell, this episode is all about Swapnil Shinde and Amanda Perna. As always, the sneak peak is full of tears and stress.
This week we found out which designers play well with others, (and which ones don’t!), as they teamed up for an exotic challenge — but who will be in and who will be out? Don’t read on unless you want to know who was sent home!
In episode three of Project Runway, the 14 designers meet Tim Gunn onboard Celebrity Cruises, where there’s 7 suitcases, each with an exotic location on it — 7 suitcases, 14 designers…that means it is time for teamwork! “We all know, the best people can go down in flames because of their team,” Amanda says — how’s that for a team player? All joking aside, the girl has a point — there’s nothing like working with others to stir up some drama, and that always seems to get in the way of the task — which is staying in the game.
It’s time for the unconventional challenge on ‘Project Runway’ — but I don’t think the designers were supposed to include tears and insults in their designs! Ashley Tisdale served as the guest judge and some of the designers totally wowed us with their designs. What do you think of the outcome of the second episode?
After we got to see the designers show off their individual sense of style during the first competition, the Project Runway designers were back in the workroom — and ready to begin their second challenge of the season: the unconventional challenge! Tim Gunn meets the contestants and tells them they’ll be making their dresses out of Hallmark Signature cards — this is about to get interesting! In fact, lace, gems, and leather are even incorporated into the unique greeting cards — but with only one day to design, who will totally rock the runway and who will be out? Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Project Runway is finally back for the 14th season and we couldn’t be more excited! If last night’s episode is just the beginning of what’s to come, then we don’t know if we’re ready! What’d you think of the season premiere?
Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, Project Runway is back! Last night’s episode was the season 14 premiere and we have so many thoughts, we don’t even know where to begin. What did you guys think of last night’s episode?
‘Project Runway’ winner, Dmitry Sholokhov, stopped by our New York office and gave us the scoop on winning project runway…twice! He also dished on which celebs he’s dying to dress, and filled us in on life post-‘Runway.’ Could he be the next E! ‘Fashion Police’ judge? Listen to his EXCLUSIVE interview below!
Dmitry Sholokhov has gone into the Project Runway hall of fame after winning both Season 10 and Season 4 of Project Runway: All Stars! Of course, winning the famed reality show has it’s perks, but what is he up to now? Get the deets below.
With only three designers left and four days to craft a collection that represents all four seasons, the pressure is on — but there can only be one winner! Who took home the prize? Read on ONLY if you want to find out!
Season four of Project Runway All Stars proved to be the best yet…after all, the talent was unprecedented — and with tough competition comes even tough challenges! The remaining three designers, Dmitry, Helen and Sonjia, are greeted by Alyssa Milano who breaks down the final competition. For the first time ever, they will have to dream up a collection that represents all four seasons — and the All Stars are only getting four days left to pull it all together. Although it seems nearly impossible, she sweetens the deal with a major budget — each designer gets $3,000 towards their collection.
We cannot wait to see what looks the top three designers will send down the runway for the finale episode of ‘Project Runway All Stars’ — especially after catching up with Dmitry, Helen and Sonjia who told us all about the drama that went down in the workroom.
This season of Project Runway All Stars was tougher than ever before with some seriously steep competition — and it all comes down to tonight’s episode, when one designer will take home the prize. Who will it be? HollywoodLife.com got to chat with Helen, Dmitry and Sonjia who filled us in on what we can expect — and Sonjia summed it up perfectly when she said: “Hands down the finale was the toughest challenge all season. Making 8 looks in four days is crazy. I still can’t believe I pulled that off. I will forever be proud of myself for it.”
The last challenge before the finale is here — and it proves to be the most suspenseful elimination yet. Who got sent home right before the final show?
This week’s episode of Project Runway All Stars had me on the edge of my seat, as the designers were treated to a viewing of the trailer of Lifetime’s Marilyn Monroe miniseries trailer before Alyssa Milano announced the competition. The designers would be tasked with creating a Marilyn-inspired gown, or a “timeless look that sparkles and shines” — and the designer’s will be given their biggest budget all season, $500, and one day to get their look together.
Only five designers are left this week as the contestants are tasked with creating bridesmaid dresses — and the episode ends with a wedding, right on the runway. Now that’s an ‘All Stars’ first.
This week the designers are in for a treat as they make their way to Marchesa for the Marchesa Challenge. Once they arrive, they meet Georgina Chapman‘s business partner and co-founder of the brand, Karen Craig — and she isn’t alone! A bride emerges, who has selected Marchesa for her wedding day — but one thing she hasn’t yet chosen are her bridesmaid dresses. We can see where this is going…
OMG! We can barely believe what happened on the Jan. 22 episode of ‘Project Runways All Stars.’ Another contestant get sent home — someone we would have never guessed — and this week’s challenge had a surprising twist!
On the January 22 episode of Project Runway All Stars, Alyssa steps out on the runway to inform the designers that the competition this week is all business — they are going to be working with QVC on a separates challenge. The looks must be interchangeable and practical — a far cry from last week’s avant-garde challenge! In true All Stars fashion, Alyssa adds a twist: the designers must also design a more high-fashion version of their look, which they will send down the runway on another model. It may seem like a tough challenge, but it will be quite rewarding to the winner; QVC is going to sell one of the separates they design.
Swimming with sharks, nail art and a trip to the aquarium contribute to the avant-garde challenge — and the competition is tougher than ever before, as the designers send their best looks ever down the runway!
The competition begins at the Long Island Aquarium, where Alyssa Milano tells them to prepare for a voyage under the sea. Alyssa, who served as inspiration for Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, tells the designers to select their own underwater life-form for inspiration for the avant-garde challenge. It is always one of our favorites, but not all the contestants share our excitement!
Our favorite design competition is finally back, and the show took a very tropical turn as they crafted resort wear — but like any ‘All Stars’ show, it didn’t go off without a few surprises.
The last time we saw our favorite All Stars bunch, a twist of fate meant they were all safe — but that clearly wouldn’t be the case this time around! The episode begins with the designers grabbing a cup of coffee when a familiar face greets them at the newsstand…and it is Alyssa Milano. A copy of USA Today: Travel jumpstarts their competition.
With only a day to create a look and the fact that the designers had to work in pairs, tension was clearly high in the workroom — but who was in and who was out?
Another week, another major twist on Project Runway All Stars! This time the contestants won’t be designing for their models — instead they’ll be designing for regular people, (and that’s not all)! This week the show teamed up with online dating site Match.com, where the designers will be put into groups of two and tasked with crafting looks for real-life singles before their first date. Helping NY singles looking for love? Not what you would expect on the runway! Regular people, menswear, individual style — clearly there are a lot of components the designers aren’t used to and anything can happen!
