What a game! The Golden State Warriors tipped off against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 11. It was a must win game for league MVP Stephen Curry and the Warriors who were down two games to one in the best of seven series. Luckily, they won!
The Cavaliers have taken the last two games behind the dominating play of Lebron James, 30, including a 108-100 victory on June 8. The city of Cleveland hasn’t won a championship in any sport since 1964 and King James seems determined to carry his hometown to the top on his own broad shoulders. However Stephen Curry, 27, wasn’t going to go down without a fight and their battle in Game 4 was one one the most exciting in NBA history.
Can Usher please sing the national anthem at every major event moving forward? His performance of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ — a slowed down version — at the Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 11 was amazing! Fans are freaking out on social media, and so are we.
Besides LeBron James‘ penis reveal at Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 11, Usher‘s performance of the “Star Spangled Banner” was the highlight of the night! Obviously, the national anthem begins all American sporting events, but this time, no one except Usher seemed more appropriate for the occasion — he is part owner of the Cavaliers, after all. And we’re so thankful he accepted the honor. Usher absolutely slayed the national anthem.
