Bio:
Leah Still (born Leah Still in State College, Pennsylvania) is the daughter of current Houston Texans defensive end Devon Still and daughter of his former partner Channing Smythe. In June 2014, Leah was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma stage 4 cancer. Devon put his football career on the line to spend time with his daughter as she fought for her life at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Devon then drove her to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she underwent cancer surgery, in which her tumor and lymph nodes were removed. On October 5, 2014 the New England Patriots honored Leah by showing a video of her progress, while their cheerleaders wore Still’s jersey to show their support. On March 18, 2015 Leah underwent more surgery to get the tumor out. Devon and Leah received the Jimmy V Award at the ESPY Awards on July 15, 2015 for their determination in facing cancer together. Since November, 2015 Leah has been in remission and cancer-free.

Leah was only given a 50/50 chance of surviving cancer, but with the support of her father and the NFL, as well as her fighting spirit, she beat cancer.
