Bio:
Cam (born Camaron Marvel Ochs on November 19, 1984 in Lafayette, California) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Cam grew up within Lafayette, a suburb of the San Francisco Bay Area. She also spent time in Oceanside where her grandparents operated a running ranch. Her time on the ranch developed her love of country music. Cam pursued music throughout high school and college, singing in various choral groups (including the Contra Costa Children’s Chorus.) Cam attended the University of California at Davis. She released her debut album, Heartforward, in 2010 under the name Camaron Ochs. Her brand of “folk pop” was well received, prompting Cam to move to Los Angeles. After relocating, she worked with Tyler Johnson to develop her songwriting skills. She wrote music for Maggie Rose and Miley Cyrus. After moving to Nashville, Cam released a single “Down This Road.” The song gained some buzz, and led her to he sign with Sony. Cam released her major label debut, the Welcome to Cam Country EP, in 2015. Her song, “Burning House,” became a top-five hit on the Billboard country songs and airplay charts. Her album, Untamed, was released in Dec. 2015, debuting at the No. 2 spot on the Top Country Albums chart.

Personal Life:
In September 2015, Cam became engaged to Adam Weaver, a business broker with First Choice Business Brokers in Nashville. She cites Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt and Willie Nelson as influences, as well as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Randy Newman.
