Wonder Woman 1984 has repeatedly been pushed back due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the movie is finally going to be released to the masses on Christmas Day. Given the current global health crisis, Wonder Woman 1984 is being released on HBO Max, as well as in select theaters and IMAX. Yes, this means you can watch the brand-new Wonder Woman sequel from home.

You can watch Wonder Woman 1984 for free with an HBO Max subscription. Unlike with Mulan’s initial Disney+ release, which cost $30 to rent, HBO Max is offering Wonder Woman 1984 for no extra charge with your subscription. An HBO Max subscription costs $14.99 a month. If you already have a subscription, then you’re already set.

The streaming service is also offering a deal for new and returning subscribers where you can save over 20% for the first 6 months when you prepay for HBO Max (total discounted price is $69.99, plus applicable tax). Once the 6 months is up, you’ll pay the current monthly rate of $14.99. The offer is available until Jan. 15, 2021.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be available on Christmas Day starting at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET, the same day as its U.S. theatrical release. The sequel will be available on HBO Max free of charge for 31 days. Wonder Woman 1984 is just the first of many Warner Bros. films that will simultaneously debut in theaters and on HBO Max in the U.S.

The movie is going to elevate your at-home viewing experience. Wonder Woman 1984 will be the first title on HBO Max that is available in 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. The 4K HDR viewing experience will be available on the select 4K devices. Wonder Woman 1984 will also be available in HD on all supported devices.

The sequel features the return of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Kristen Wiig joins the cast as the villainous Cheetah, while Pedro Pascal plays Maxwell Lord. Patty Jenkins returned to direct the sequel.
