Yung Miami — Yung Miami, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, makes up one-half of the famous rap duo City Girls. You may recall Cardi B’s feature in the tag team’s most famous hit, ‘Twerk,’ or the City Girls’ other famous bop, ‘Act Up.’

Yung was born on February 11, 1994 in Florida. She attended the same Miami middle school as her City Girls partner, JT! The ladies put forth their debut single in August 2017 and their debut mixtape, ‘Period,’ arrived in May 2018. The debut studio album came soon after in November 2018, and this time, big names were enlisted — Cardi B, Jacquees and Lil Baby were all featured on the ‘Girl Code’ record! You can also hear Yung Miami and JT’s voices in Drake’s 2018 hit, ‘In My Feelings’ — Yung also made it into the actual music video.

JT was reportedly sentenced to prison for fraudulent credit card charges in the summer of 2018, but Yung continued to hold down the City Girls until announcing her partner was released in Oct. 2019. Yung announced that she’s expecting her second child in June 2019.
