Catelynn Lowell Holding Her Daughter Novalee — ‘Teen Mom OG’ is a reality series on MTV, which started as a spin-off of ’16 & Pregnant.’ Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood documented their lives on ‘Teem Mom’ after viewers got to know them on ’16 & Pregnant.’ The series documented the ladies’ trials and tribulations after giving birth as teenagers. The show initially lasted for four seasons from 2009-2012.

Eventually, fan support led to MTV picking up ‘Teen Mom’ and re-branding it as ‘Teen Mom OG’ for a fifth season, which premiered in 2015. The show has been on consistently ever since. Farrah was let go from the show for the second half of season 7, and replaced by Cheyenne Floyd and Bristol Palin. However, Bristol did not not plan to return to the show for season 8. ‘Teen Mom’ has inspired the spin-offs ‘Teen Mom 2,’ ‘Teen Mom 3,’ and ‘Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant.’
