Stephanie Seymour — American supermodel Stephanie Seymour was born July 23, 1968 and started her modeling career working for local newspapers and department stores in her hometown of San Diego at the age of 16. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, her career flourished and she appeared in numerous issues of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and even on the cover of Vogue. At the time, Stephanie was considered a hoisery and lingerie model and was hired to pose for the relatively new Victoria’s Secret company in its mail-order catalogs and retail stores. In March 1991, and again in February 1993 she posed for Playboy and then, alongside the hottest models of the time – Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Claudia Schiffer – Stephanie posed for the infamous “A League Of Their Own” Vanity Fair issue.
