Simon Cowell is a long-time reality TV singing competition judge. His first claim to fame was being the blunt and tough judge on ‘American Idol,’ as well as always wearing his very low-neck T-shirts. Simon has established ‘The X-Factor’ in England and in the USA. He later launched ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘America’s Got Talent.’ He is credited with launching the careers of contestants who have appeared on his shows like One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Leona Lewis.
In addition to his career, he has also found success in love. He recently popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Lauren Silverman after 13 years of courtship. The two initially met as friends when she was married to Andrew Silverman. Over the years, Simon and Lauren began having an affair. They came public with their relationship in 2013 and Lauren gave birth to their son Eric Cowell on February 14, 2014.
