The Vampire Diaries star and the Olympian make one of Hollywood’s cutest couples.

Nina Dobrev and Shaun White began dating at the start of the COVID quarantine in 2020. Initially, they kept their romance private, but during a vacation to Mexico, they confirmed their relationship by being spotted having a great time and sharing affectionate moments throughout the trip.

Now, five years in, Dobrev and White are engaged! White proposed with a 5-carat diamond ring under an arch of white roses at the Golden Swan restaurant in New York City. Dobrev shared the news on Instagram, captioning her post: “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé.”
