Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola: Photos of the ‘Jersey Shore’ Star

Samantha Giancola, otherwise known by her reality television name, ‘Sammi Sweetheart’, was born in March 1987. She was raised in Hazlet, New Jersey and attended Raritan High School. She went on to attend William Paterson University, where she majored in Sociology. Sammi rose to fame on the MTV hit reality show, Jersey Shore in August 2009. The show ran with new episodes until December 2012.

Sammi has appeared with her cast mates on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ and ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’. They also appeared in the 2012 film ‘The Three Stooges’. Sammi  later appeared on multiple episodes of ‘Snooki & JWoww’ and participated in the 2017 E! special ‘Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore’.

In 2018, Sammi announced she would not return for the ‘Jersey Shore’ revival, ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’, to avoid ‘potentially toxic situations’ and to focus on her ‘businesses and relationship.’ However, in 2023, she came back to the show for the first time since 2012 to film new episodes.
