Rod Stewart is one of the most beloved British rockstars of all time. He was the singer of the band Faces, and after the band broke up, he skyrocketed in his solo career with numerous hits of his own, including songs like Maggie May and Forever Young.

Throughout his life, Rod has been married three times. His first marriage to Alana Stewart lasted only five years, but the couple had two children. His relationship with Rachel Hunter lasted much longer. They got married in 1990, but finally divorced in 2006. The couple also had two children.

Shortly after splitting from Rachel, Rod met model Penny Lancaster, and the pair got married in 2007, and they’ve been happily married ever since. The model, who is 27 years his junior and the rocker have had two sons (the youngest of the singer’s eight children) together, and they seem like they’re perfect for each other.

Rod was devastated when he and Penny briefly broke up. He explained how the quick split inspired his track “Time”, telling The Mirror, “Penny and I broke up for two weeks and the song is about that time. Reflecting on the relationship, Rod told The Australian, “I think I’ve been a good husband in the last two marriages. I’ve learnt a lot.” He added that he gets along with his exes, saying, “We’ve had our ups and downs, you know, but we’re all growing old and beginning to [mellow.]”
