Regina Hall has been one of the most famous comedic actresses of the past 20 years. The Washington D.C.-born actress started her career in 1997 after getting a master’s degree in journalism from NYU. Her first role was on the drama series ‘New York Undercover.’ Her earliest breakout roles came in 2000 when she played Lena Wright in ‘Love And Basketball’ and Brenda in ‘Scary Move,’ a role she’d reprise in many of the franchise’s sequels. She’s gone on to star in many more TV shows and films, with popular roles in dramas like ‘Law And Order: LA’ and ‘Law Abiding Citizen.’ Still, Regina showed that she can still bring the funny when starred in the 2017 hit comedy ‘Girls Trip.’ Some of Regina’s more recent roles included playing Carmel Schneider in the mini-series ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ and Dawn Towner in the show ‘Black Monday.’
