Rachel Nichols — Rachel Nichols has been one of the most prominent voices in sports journalism for the past 20 years. She got her start in print journalism, working for The Washington Post, where she covered the Washington Capitals, until she joined ESPN in 2004. As a reporter for ESPN, she covered both the NBA and NFL, and she made appearances on some of the sports network’s biggest shows like ‘SportsCenter’ and ‘Monday Night Football.’

After 9 years with ESPN, she became a sports anchor for CNN in 2013, where she was praised for hard-hitting interviews with major sports figures like NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and champion boxer Floyd Mayweather.

After three years, Rachel returned to ESPN in 2016 and hosted the NBA show, ‘The Jump,’ and provided plenty of basketball coverage. After a controversial phone call leaked in July 2021, where she criticized the network when ‘The Jump’ was cancelled.
