Portia de Rossi is one funny lady. The Australian actress was born Jan. 31, 1973, and raised in suburban Victoria. She got her big break in Scream 2, which allowed her to crossover to the States. She’d have to shed her accent, but parts in Ally McBeal (1998-2002), Arrested Development (2003-2006), and Nip/Tuck (2005) followed. Beloved as the shallow heiress Lindsay Bluth, she came back for Arrested Development’s 2013 and 2019 Netflix revivals. She also appeared on Better Off Ted from 2009 to 2010.
Portia is married to Ellen DeGeneres. The duo began dating in 2004 and were wed in 2008 after gay marriage was initially legalized in California.
