Paul Walker: His Greatest Moments in ‘The Fast And the Furious’

One of Paul Walker’s most beloved roles was in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise. See photos of him in the series here.

Paul Walker originated the role of undercover Det. Brian O’Conner in the first ‘F&F’ movie, which turned into a global hit. He and co-star Vin Diesel were ‘family’ by the end of the first film, and the theme of family ran throughout the franchise originally about fast cars and street racing, although the plots got more intricate — and international — as the franchise grew. He was just about done filming ‘Furious 7’ when Paul was tragically killed in a car crash on Nov. 30, 2013. He had been attending a fundraiser by his Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan at a high-powered and specialized motor club when he went for a ride as the passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT. The driver lost control, hitting a pole and then two trees, killing the actor instantly. The movie went on with its 2015 release, though it said goodbye to Paul’s character in a poignant way. The series has continued without him, but Brian’s memory is brought up often.
