There’s a reason he goes by McDreamy on television! Patrick Dempsey played television’s most swoonworthy surgeon as Derek Shepherd on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ for 11 years (2005-2016). His character served as the main love interest to Ellen Pompeo’s Dr. Meredith Grey, until [SPOILER] that one tragic scene in Season 11. His work on the show earned him two Golden Globe nominations!
It’s difficult to separate Patrick from ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ but the silver fox has done a lot of other work in Hollywood — most notably the Disney film Enchanted and its sequel, Disenchanted. In 2023, Patrick was named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, an honor that took long enough to be given to Patrick.
