Mary-Kate Olsen began dating French investment banker Pierre — also the brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy — in 2012, despite their 17 year age difference. The couple became engaged in Feb. 2014, and tied the knot in an intimate 50 person Manhattan ceremony in Nov. 2015. The marriage marked the second for Sarkozy, who was previously married to Charlotte Bernard, with whom he shares son Julien and daughter Margot. Mary-Kate Olsen surprisingly signed a divorce petition in April 2020 after nearly five years of marriage amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
