You don’t have to be stick thin to be beautiful — this stunning star shows us it’s time to embrace our real shapes and work it!
After getting a glimpse of the campaign, the rest of the gorgeous shots are out — and Kate Winslet was the pefect choice as the face of St. John’s Fall 2011 campaign. She modeled several forms of attire in camel and black schemes. She expressed to The Daily Mail her love for the line and outfits.
“With St. John you can look extremely chic without trying too hard,” Kate said, “You don’t feel as though they are clothes that only a model would be able to wear. And obviously I am not a model, I don’t have a model’s body, I have a real shape. And that just means a lot to me to be able to wear clothes that do embody that message of strength and power and femininity in a real shape.”
Creative director of the brand, George Sharp, agreed she was right for this role.
“She is an accomplished, beautiful woman with an extraordinary body of work, and one of the most admired actors of her generation,” he explained, “She embodies the modern sensibility of St John, she is contemporary and authentically captures the style of the St. John woman.”
