She also stars on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Kandi is a Grammy Award-winning artist from her songwriting on girl group TLC’s song ‘No Scrubs,’ which won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song in 2000. Kandi has had her own singing career for herself, with two studio albums, ‘Hey Kandi…’ from 2000 and ‘Kandi Koated’ in 2010.

Kandi joined the cast for ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ in 2009. She had her daughter, Riley, with ex Russel Spencer. She was formerly engaged to A.J. Jewell, who unfortunately passed away in 2009. Her next engagement came in 2013, to Todd Tucker, who worked as a line producer on her reality show. They got married in 2014, and had son Ace in 2016.
