Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick didn’t meet on a Bachelor Nation show, but they have the franchise to thank for their past relationship. Kaitlyn was the star of The Bachelorette in 2015, while Jason was on the show for season 14. The two met after Kaitlyn ended her relationship with Shawn Booth, who she got engaged to on The Bachelorette. Jason was a guest on Kaitlyn’s podcast just weeks before she and Shawn announced their split in the fall of 2018.

In January 2019, Jason returned to the podcast and asked Kaitlyn out. They made their relationship official by the end of that month, and moved in together in Nashville in May 2019. Two years later, in May 2021, Jason proposed to Kaitlyn and the two began planning a wedding. However, they ended up breaking off their engagement and splitting in mid-2023.
