Fans first picked up on a possible romance between the pair on Labor Day when they were spotted hanging out in New York City together. An eagle-eyed fan snapped a photo of the two holding hands and sitting on a bench in the Big Apple, and buzz about their relationship quickly went viral online. After that, they became inseparable, and were photographed out and about throughout the month of September. At the end of the month, Jacob even joined Kaia and her famous parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, on vacation in Mexico.
