She went on to star in the cult classic ‘Labyrinth’ in 1986, which co-starred David Bowie and was produced by George Lucas. She continued to regularly act in popular films and TV shows, including ‘Career Opportunities’ in 1981, ‘Dark City’ in 1998, and her unforgettable role a drug addict in 2000 drama ‘Requiem for a Dream.’
A highly accomplished actress, she earned an Oscar for her role in ‘A Beautiful Mind’ in the Best Supporting Actress cateogry.
