Jameela Jamil: Photos — Jameela Jamil is best known as an actress and radio presenter. The star, born Feb. 25, 1986, started out working as an English teacher before making her way in the entertainment industry. She was a presenter on T4 in the UK from 2009 until 2012 before going on to host the radio show, ‘The Official Chart’. She became the first solo female presenter on the BBC ‘Radio 1 Chart Show’.

After her success as a radio presenter, Jameela moved from her native England to the United States to pursue screenwriting in 2016. She was then cast to play the role of Tahani Al-Jamil in the NBC comedy series ‘The Good Place’. Her first film role was in the 2019 film ‘How to Build a Girl’.

Here, she sits on the TBS ‘The Misery Index’ television show panel at the TCA Winter Press Tour in Los Angeles on Feb. 11, 2019. She wore a black off-the-shoulder dress, red lipstick, and red earrings.
