Grimes: Photos — Grimes (born Claire Elise Boucher on Mar. 17, 1988) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and visual artist known for her dreamy musical stylings and sci-fi influenced creations. Since bursting on the scene in the late 2000s, Grimes has built a core and loyal following. Her third studio album, 2012’s ‘Visions,’ earned her critical and commercial success. Come 2019, her track “Oblivion” was named Pitchfork’s second best song of the decade. In 2015, she released ‘Art Angels’ and ‘Miss Anthropocene’ came out in 2020. In addition to her music, Grimes served as a judge on ‘Alter Ego’, a singing competition where contestants perform as digital avatars.

From 2007 to 2010, Grimes was in an on/off relationship with Majical Cloudz vocalist Devon Welseh. In 2018, she began dating Elon Musk. The couple welcomed a son on Mar 4, 20202, and then in Mar. 2022 it was revealed they had a daughter but were no longer romantically involved.
