‘General Hospital’ Stars Then & Now — ‘General Hospital’ is the longest running soap opera on television. The show premiered in 1963, and is still running as of 2020. So many stars have come and gone on the series over the years, with many starring on the show for ten years or more. Of course, those stars look much different now than they did when they first got their starts on the show! Some cast members began on ‘General Hospital’ when they were just kids or teenagers, so they’ve definitely grown up right in front of our eyes. Kirsten Storms — Kirsten Storms has starred as Maxie Jones on ‘General Hospital’ since 2005. She was a young 20-year-old when she started on the show, and has been growing up right in front of our eyes over the years.

Laura Wright

Kelly Monaco

Kelly Monaco — Kelly Monaco has been on ‘General Hospital’ for more than 15 years, making her debut as Sam McCall in 2003. In the photo on the left, Kelly attends the 2004 Emmy Awards. The photo on the right shows her during a May 2019 episode of ‘General Hospital.’

Genie Francis

Genie Francis — Genie Francis has played Laura Spencer on and off since 1977. She returned to ‘General Hospital’ full-time in 2015. Laura is part of daytime TV’s biggest supercouple: Luke and Laura.

Finola Hughes

Finola Hughes — Finola Hughes has come and gone on ‘General Hospital’ over the years. In her role of Anna Devane, she appeared on the series in 1985-1991, 1995, and 2006-2008. She returned in 2012 and has been back ever since. Finola is just a teenager in the photo on the left (from 1983), while the photo on the right was taken during a 2020 ‘General Hospital’ episode, nearly 30 years later.

Rebecca Herbst

Rebecca Herbst — Rebecca Herbst has been starring as Elizabeth Webber-Baldwin on ‘General Hospital’ since 1997 — more than 20 years! In the left photo, she celebrates a win at the Soap Digest Awards in 1999, when she was just 22 years old. On the right, she appears on ‘General Hospital’ 20 years later, in 2019.

Tyler Christopher

Tyler Christopher — Tyler Christopher appeared on ‘General Hospital’ as Nikolsa Cassadine on and off over the years. He first debuted from 1996 until 1999, then came back from 2003-2011 and 2013-2016. On the left, he appears in a 1999 episode of the show, while on the right, he attends the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2019, 20 years later.

Kimberly McCullough

Kimberly McCullough — Kimberly McCullough was Robin Scorpio on ‘General Hospital’ from 1985 until 2001. She was just seven years old when she started on the series. She then returned as a new character in 2005, and stayed until 2012. Kimberly had quite a glow-up between 1985 (left) and 2016 (right), and she literally grew up in front of viewers’ eyes on the show!

Ingo Rademacher

Ingo Rademacher — Ingo Rademacher plays Jasper Jacks on ‘General Hospital.’ He first started in 1996 and was on the show for 17 years until 2013. Michael Easton

Michael Easton — Michael Easton has had a few roles on ‘General Hospital’ over the years, but he’s been consistently starring as Hamilton Finn since 2016. He’s cleaned up his look a bit in recent years, as can be seen in these pics from 2012 (left) and 2019 (right).
