There is basically no sitcom as iconic as Friends. The NBC hit first premiered on Sept. 22, 1994, and ran for 10 seasons until the finale on May 6, 2004. The show, which starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc, made people laugh for 236 episodes. They earned a whole new generation of fans when the show began streaming in the 2020s. Since the show ended, the cast has gone on to do big things. Many have stayed in the TV arena, while others have branched out to movies, Broadway, and more. The crew reunited in 2021 for an HBO Max special, which would mark the last time they were all together before Matthew Perry’s tragic death on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54.
