FKA Twigs — real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett — is a British singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and visual performance artist. She moved to London in 2017 after being raised on Gloustershire and released her debut music via two EP’s in 2012 and 2013. In 2014 she released her first album ‘LP1’ but it was her budding relationship with former ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson that really upped her worldwide profile. The couple dated for three years and were rumored to be engaged, although neither confirmed or denied reports. Rob and Twigs split up in 2017 and she went on to date actor Shia LaBeouf, who she met while filming the movie ‘Honey Boy.’ They split in 2019, and in 2020 she filed a lawsuit accusing him of “relentless abuse.”

FKA Twigs followed up her 2016 single “Good to Love” with a new song and music video that dropped on April 24, 2019 called “Cellophane” It was directed by frequent Bjork collaborator Andrew Thomas Huang and she revealed to fans that when she wrote the song, she already had the visuals in her head and realized she need to learn how to dance on a stripper’s pole.
