Daryl would catch her big break with the 978 Brian De Palma horror flick The Fury but it would be her part as a mermaid in 1984’s Splash that made her a household name. The star would continue to work through the 90s and 2000s, appearing in hits like the Grumpy Old Men movies and Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill series.

Through the years Daryl has dated A-listers like musician Jackson Browne and the late John F. Kennedy Jr. She began dating Neil Young in 2014 and the pair wed in 2018.
