Darryl Hamilton was a celebrated American professional baseball outfielder who played in Major League Baseball for several incredible teams over his long career, including the Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies and New York Met. Starting in the late 80s, Darryl played for 13 years, ending his time on the fired with the Mets in 2001.
Tragically, Darryl’s legacy ended in tragedy. On June 21, 2015, Daryl, at the age 50, and his girlfriend, Monica Jordan, were found dead in their Pearland, Texas, house, in what appeared to be a murder-suicide. Investigators reported that Darryl had been shot more than once and his girlfriend died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They pair had 13 month-old child, who was found alive and unharmed at the scene.
